Makrolon

Extruded polypropylene (PP) core plate. It is used for roofing and glazing (shelters, pergolas, skylights, lighting of buildings, pool roofing, greenhouses, industrial applications, balconies and others).

The boards are fastened to already finished and surface-treated structures;

Fastening is done on metal or wooden structures. Lexan ™ Thermoclear sheets have a double-sided UV filter and are provided with a double-sided protective film to be removed before application.

Lexan ™ Thermoclear blanks can be bent to permitted radii when cold-mounted.

Installation description:

Construction - roof slope at least 10 degrees.
Substrate underlay with polyethylene strip
Modifying the board to the desired format, cleaning it and gluing it with perforated or aluminum tape.
Application of finishing strips and their sealing with neutral silicone.
The boards are anchored using aluminum slats with rubber seals and top slats.
Use only screws (wood, metal) with a plastic washer and a protective cap or button to secure the rails and boards.
Use end caps and neutral silicone to seal plates and profiles.
The boards can be joined with aluminum and plastic H profiles
Anchoring of the plates is necessary after the slope of the tubes due to condensate drainage and to prevent algae and moisture from settling.
