Poli-Flex® Nylon 4808 Red

Poli-Flex Nylon is a special range of iron-on foils from German manufacturer Poli-Tape, designed exclusively for problematic materials with a hydrophobic finish (impregnated materials).

If you try to iron a regular foil onto nylon, a windbreaker, or an umbrella, it will probably peel off after the first wash (or immediately after ironing). Poli-Flex Nylon has a special adhesive that can bite into these "slippery" surfaces.

With nylon, the pre-pressing and final pressing processes are critical:

Pre-pressing: Iron the fabric briefly (approx. 5 seconds) to remove moisture.

First pressing: Place the motif on the fabric and press for approx. 3–4 seconds.

Removing the film: Remove the transparent transfer film (either immediately or after cooling slightly, depending on the type).

Post-pressing: Cover the motif with baking paper and iron for the remaining 10-12 seconds.

What to watch out for
Materials: Ideal for nylon, polyamide, and impregnated fabrics.

Washing: Wash the fabric inside out at a maximum temperature of 40°C. Do not tumble dry.

Unsuitable surfaces: If the material is extremely heavily impregnated with silicone, even this film may not adhere (in this case, I recommend testing on a small piece).
